The Restoration and Renewal Programme has established Sustainability aspirations and objectives that focus on five key areas.

These aspirations encompass the three pillars of Sustainability, environment, social and economic; with the aim of providing holistic benefits to our refurbished buildings, the people that use them and communities throughout the UK.

Ambitious commitments have been established which set out how UK Government’s 2050 Net Zero Carbon targets will be supported through innovative design and how social and economic sustainability ambitions will be championed through leadership, sustainable procurement and construction.
